/Partnering URL Campaign
Have you ever tried to find the partnering, licensing, business development section of a company's website?
We have and often find it hidden away, inaccessible or worse not available.
Since biopharma needs partnering to achieve successful product development and commercialization, why not have an industry standard URL for partnering information on a company website.
We propose the following
All biopharma websites should place their partnering, licensing and business development information on a standardized Partnering homepage...
http://www.currentpartnering.com/partneringurl
...allowing all in the industry to know where to find relevant partnering information.
The advantages to biopharma are enormous
By implementing a standardized URL for partnering content on your website, you are letting potential partners find your opportunities, interests and requirements easily, without them even needing to know the strucutre of your website.
This provides several benefits:
- allows potential partners to find your partnering interests quickly
- allow readers to establish
But our company needs lots of partnering web pages - how do we achieve that with just one URL
It is very simple. The /partnering URL acts as your Partnering Homepage - all other partnering pages including detailed infromation and dedicated partnering contact information navigate from this page.
Is there a downside?
Not that I can think of, but if you want to contribute to the discussion, contact us.
How to implement
Ask your IT people to amend your website by:
- Creating a URL companyname.com/partnering
- Move the content from your existing partnering, licensing, business development pages to the new URL.
- Create a redirect from the old URL to the new URL, to ensure existing users are taken to the new partnering homepage of your website.
Simple as 1, 2, 3!
