Hot off the press is the news that Ranbaxy has signed a drug discovery development pact with Merck - the companies will work together to develop clinically validated anti-bacterial and anti-fungal drug candidates.
Also of interest is the conclusion of Abbott and Takeda's TAP joint venture; Forest and Daiichi Sankyo's terminated AZOR co-promotion agreement; and Bristol-Myers Squibb's intention to sell its ConvaTec unit for $4.1 billion.
