EDITOR'S CORNER

Dealmaking has continuing to pick up in 2008, with May seeing a flurry of dealmaking.

The leading deal during May was Takeda's $1,000m headline grabbing alliance with Alnylam for RNAi therapeutics.

Also of interest was Bristol-Myers Squibb's acquisition of KOSAN Biosciences, and Daiichi Sankyo's purchase of U3 Pharma.

We have also been busy in our report publishing activities - our latest report is now available Clinical Stage Partnering Agreements in Biopharma.
